At the beginning, the sawmill was located at the top of the waterfall of the Neigette River. In 1892, the sawmill operated only a few months every year because of the river, which was the only way to transport the logs.

In the front of the picture, we see the pier holding the logs on the river, and then they are dragged through the sawmill to be cut into lumber.

This picture taken in 1924, shows the staff who was working at the sawmill of the Neigette River. In the back of the picture, we can see part of the main building of the sawmill.

A high technology combined with a good operational flexibility allowed our company to develop within the years different specialty products with the lumber generated from our sawmill.
